shipping a bike to Quito or Caracas from the US
Is it easier to ship a bike by air to Quito or Venezuala from the US? By that I mean less hassles,corruption and time.

Don't know about Caracas. Customs in Quito was a 3 day nightmare! I'm told it took one guy 12 days to get his out! Advice: if you decide to go to Quito, spent the $100 and hire a good customs broker from the git go.
