Shipping Bike and Myself from Europe to Southern US or Mexico
 

Hi I need to transport myself and my bike (XTZ 750) to somewhere in Southern US or Mexico to be there for the end of October and head South. Exact start and finish locations are not particularly important but the cheaper the better!!

Has anyone done this recently? or has any advice on best options? Like I said I can drive to anywhere in Europe to send the bike... and I can follow or go with it...

I wouldn't recommend shipping into Mexico. A friend did it a few years ago and it took 3 days to get the bike out of the airport. I would think Houston would be much easier. Unless you Spanish is good doing anything in mExico will be difficult.

Your best option would be to ship from Southampton, Zeebrugge or Bremerhaven by ro ro shipping to Baltimore.
