Shipping a bike from Equador
 

Thanks to everyone who gave me info on how ship my bike to Argentina, but has anyone ever shipped or flown a bike out of Equador? Can anyone give me any contact numbers, I'll be sending it back to the UK.

Ecuadorian Line has been recommneded by travellers for shipping Panama to Ecuador, good prices etc.

Note that air is usually recommended if you want to use your bike soon, as sea can take up to two months, sometimes more. The difference in price may well be more than used up by the cost of being without a bike.

He Air freighted my bike to Miami, using Coltrans as forwarders. $550.00 freight only. Alejandro speaks excellent English and is very helpful.

From Miami it's easy to fly to the UK, Lufthansa being one of the best.

You could also contact Mike Mandell - on our Links page - he is very good at shipping USA - Europe, insurance questions etc., and may be able to help out of Ecuador.
