shipping

would it be possible to remove the engine,tank,and battery and ship them as dangerous cargo and ship the bike as metal in a seperate box?thanks dan

Dont let the dangerous goods bit put you off or panic you. All we have ever had to do is disconnect the battery and drain the fuel tank.
And in fact in this last shipping UK to AUS we didnt even have to disconnect the battery. Nor did we from Darwin to East Timor.
Are you flying or shippping???? and from - to where?????
Really can not see the point in two seperate 'parcels' so to speak.

I was looking to save money and hassle by the dangerous cargo-higher rate. small expensive box and a larger not expensive box. thanks dan
