Ship US-UK friend trailers bike home?
is it possible to do this......don't want to return or buy insurance until the spring.......but need to send the US registered bike home.
anyone help?

A few details would help - from where, are you wanting to fly it home or sea freight or??
What has insurance got to do with anything? I'm confused

I wanted to ship it......don't they ask for insurance when someone picks it up at the customs?

Dear Boystrom,
as Grant already mentioned, info & details are important for others to give you advice.. So please let us know when you want to ship what from and to where. The only thing I can say now is that I think that if they pick up the bike you'll only need insurance to DRIVE it. If they pick it up with a trailer you should be fine. In some countries you can get special one-day insurances for this purpose, just to drive it home, but this is relatively expensive compared to a full years insurance. Just make sure they have the paperwork to claim the shipment. Hope this helps.. regards, Gerbie
