SHARING CONTAINER from South-East Asia to Europe
Hi everybody!
After travelling for one year with our truck we wish to ship it the way back from South-East Asia to Belgium/ Antwerp in a 40" highcube container. The container have to leave more or less between first and fifteen september 2011...About the departure port, we are thinking to send it from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia,or Bangkok, Thailand, Cambodgia is even a possibilitie. Actually we are sending quote requests to the different shipping companies from those countries and are waiting the answers; the departure port will depend on them and on the persons desiring to share a container with us... The dimensions of a 40" High Cube container : 40' High Cube Internal Length 12.03 m 39´06" Width 2.35 m 7´08" Height 2.70 m Door opening Width 2.34 m 7´08" Height 2.58 m 8´05" Concerning the space available in the container : I think that a 40" HC container could take at least 8 bikes with my truck inside. Or one other vehicle with my truck inside (even for a camper..). For the price it will depend on the quotation and the number of persons sharing the container.
