Seeking assistance from a Chilean

Hello, any bi-lingual Chileans here that could assist me when I arrive in Chile on the 10th of December? I still can't decide between freighting a bike and purchasing one in Chile, if I could borrow a Chilean for a few hours to help get my bike out of customs then I think I will ship my minibike.

This brings me to my next reason for requiring assistance, I am worried they will refuse to register my minibike on the road..? Anyone know about this? It is 100% road legal here but quite small.

It's the same as this:

lunch & beer is on me for anyone who can help :thumbup1:

If it is registered in your own country you do not ned to register it here.

Your best bet is to make sure you have current title/ownership papers and valid registration for the bike in your current country. Then it just comes in as a temp visitor import.

I would suggest that it is near impossible to register a foreign bike in Chile.

hmm thanks you're correct, I've decided to buy an XL 200 there instead, anyone whom speaks Spanish free on the 11th of December to help me purchase the bike and do the paperwork?

++ beer and lunch :thumbup1:
