Sea frieght clearing costs in Buenos Aires
 

I am shipping a bike to Buenos Aires in Argentina and was hoping I might be able to get some advice on what to expect to pay in clearing fees and tax at the port in Buenos Aires?

Has anyone shipped a bike there recently, if they have, any advice on the process and costs would be very much appreciated.

I shipped my bike from Germany to Buenos Aires about 10 years ago and I had to pay about 100 US over there. Stay for a while in Buenos Aires - great place!!! I stayed in the Hostal Carly/Plaza Dorrego in San Telmo, basic but clean and cheap, nice plaza in front of the building! It was the best trip of my life! Jens
