S Africa - uk
Does anyone have a rough idea of cost of shipping R80 HS basic from S Africa to UK. Planning a trans Africa and need to work out coatings. Many thanks

Sorry can't help with current costs but you could contact MACS shipping for current pricing. They have a regular service from Durban, Jeffrey's Bay and Cape Town to Antwerp and the UK.

Back in 2010 I used AMI (Air Menzies International) at Cape Town airport.
More info on this thread here: http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/hub...ape-town-61794 If your's is a popular travelling bike (I'm not familiar with BMWs at all) Bradley may be able to give you a quotation. Or be prepared to estimate the weight and a rough size when palletised. This is for air freight. If you're also getting a sea quotation it would be interesting to see how they compare.
