I have not been to argentina yet . I shipped my bike from Suriname to amsterdam in 2010 for 495 euro all in . i have just come back to suriname to carry on with my trip . I had my bike picked up from my house ( widnes UK ) and shipped by sea to the port of suriname for £379 and then paid about £75 in fees to get my bike off the dock at this end . all went well .the ship my bike came with came into dock 1 hour late from the time they said . i got a crate for free for my bike from a BMW shop. if I was living close to ipswitch and was flexible on the date of arrival i found a ship that could have got it here for £170 plus suriname dock fees ( about £75 )

I want to fly my bike to Argentina, in 2010 shipped it over there, but the ship had a delay of one week and they dropped the crate. Not to bad as I was travelling for 6 months, but now I'm going for 3,5 moths so I need my time.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
