panama to columbia
I am riding my 650KLR from California down through central america and on down the entire continent of south america. When I hit panama, what is the best and cheapest way to get to any part of Columbia. I would prefer some type of ferry, am I dreaming?

Hi. We have info on shipping from Panama to Bogota, Colombia, and also to Guayaquil and Quito, Ecuador. Since it is a very popular topic, we have created a page for shipping info where travellers can provide details on the shipment including contact info and paperwork on arrival. See the link below.

There used to be ferries from Panama to Colombia, but not anymore. We recommend flying yourself and the bike as the least painful transport option, but you can read the info from travellers who have gone the sea route as well.
