It certainly should be possible, since you can fly from Panama to Bogota. Erwin Thoma did it with Girag Air Cargo for US$250 in August, 2000. His description and contact details for Girag can be found at:

and search on Panama to Colombia.

However, we strongly suggest flying to Ecuador or Caracas instead, depending on your planned route through South America. Colombia is considered very dangerous right now. A message we received just this week from Tiberio Jaramillo of the Horizons Medellin Community:
