Panama - Equador Nov 25 - Dec 7

Looking for travellers going North to South on the Panamerican to make the trip from somewhere in Panama to Quitto, Equador in the last week of November, first week of December.
Currently we are a party of three: one KTM 625 and two small Honda 50's. It would be nice to meet up with some more travellers to make the trip together. Boat or plane.

Also if you have crossed from Panama recently and you have good information please let us know!

Hi Dirk, I´m at present (16 Nov)in Costa Rica and intend to cross into Panama on the Carribean side to see if the new road has any potholes yet. I expect to be in Panama City towards the end of the month and also think that arriving at a shipper in a bunch may give some bartering power so if you want a big bike in the pack, BMW R1200GS, give me an RV. Ride safe, Mike.

Hi guys.
We are couple on two bikes and planning to cross to Ecuador from Panama at the end of this month also.
Do you have already any idea, how you are gonna ship the bikes and yourselves?
It is definitely better to go in a group.
Please let us know.

Good to hear from you guys! The more the merrier indeed.

We have arrived in Panama City today. I will start inquiring about shipping options tommorow. We consider both the boat and plane option.

We stay at Hotel Central Americano. Room 502. Please contact us there or send me an e-mail.

Hope to see you guys soon,

Dirk

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
