I´m planing to go Central America and I want to send my bike by Air to Costa Rica or Panama. Has anyone expirience about coustom clearing in one of this countries, if yes wich one is the easy way? What is needed? How long does it take? Costs of clearing? Insurance needed?

Most of the bikes from SA arrive in Panama. Since Panama Customs has more experience in this than Costa Rican, they tend to be faster. This does not mean that you wouldn't be hit for a "mordita." Be firm and keep on smiling, and it shouldn't cost you that much. Remember the boys and girls at customs are very poorly paid. Consider anything you give as development aid.
Enjoy, life is too short to worry about a bit of money well spent.
