Los Angeles to Seoul

I am preparing a RWT, and have sent some mail to air freight companies. My intention is to send my motorcycle from Los Angeles to Seoul.

Berklay said that they can do it, but only from NYC. The price (according to its list) would be 2095 USD, because the motorcycle is a BMW F 650 GS DAKAR.

Does it sound correct?

In advance, thanks for your comments

If thats by air...then its an excellent price...and Berklay is a reputable shipper of motorcycles.

Are you sure MOTOEDDE? What do you think about to send the motorcycle by sea from Anchorage to Magadan. I am pretty sure that is cheaper but am really concern about the time and the informalities with the sea freights (I had a bad experience when sent by sea my motorcycle from México to Barcelona).

Yes...the costs and hassles of sea...especially dealing with Russian ports can be COSTLY...not just shipping costs, but Hotel costs while you wait to ship the bike...or wait for the bike to arrive elsewhere...
