How to get a bike from Germany to Ethiopia
I want to *ship* my bike to Ethiopia but have never done this to a country whithout harbours... Do you have any experiences with shipping your bike and then let it beeing transported by an agency to an other country!
Or is it better to pay more than to ship and then transport. Thanks for your help, Silke

why don't you ride it down ? I wouldn't ship it to another country and than transport it with an agent. Flying the bike is an option. from Cairns Australia MIKA

I do not have th time to do so but would LOVE to do it! Flying the bike is an option. I know, the difficulty is that there ar only 2 direc flights and one is with Lufthansa who dont handle motorbikes any more. Ethiopean airlines told me their plane would only allow freight up to 70 cm of heihgt. Connection flights ar with boeing 737 which is also too small. See the problem? Silke
