Has anyone been on a ferry on Lake Malawi
 

Hi all.


I need some advice about the Ilala ferry in Malawi on Lake Malawi. Can anybody tell me how it works when you take your bike on it? We found info about the sleeping arraignments and apparently you camp with your tent on the upper deck. The problem is we can’t seem to find info what to do with vehicles. We don’t have big ferries in South Africa so I’m not sure what the norm is:confused1:. We will spend 3 days on the ferry so it’s not a short distance we are traveling on it.
