Flying the bike to Aus
 

We are currently 3 months into a 12 month trip round the world, just about to get the ferry out of Victoria to travel down the coast of the US.

The plan is to fly the bike out of LA to Aus/NZ but we haven't seen much info of anyone elso doing a similar journey. Most of the info in the members experiences is a few years old and I'd really rather fly that ship. I know that Quantas have a regular feight service out of LA but haven't checked it out yet.

Is it more awkward / expensive to travel out of the US? Would we do a big loop of the states and transport the bike out of Canada?

Any ideas/experiences gratefully accepted!
