Ferry Prices.....deals to be had....for ALL

Originally, it was Rosyth (Edinburgh - if you prefer!) to Zeebrugge and back. Simply because of the distance from home - to Rosyth.

BUT......for those that DON'T know..... One bike, one rider and a cabin both ways = 485.00quid

Now, four of us are going - beginning of May - from Portsmouth to Santander, riding thru Andorra, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg and onto Zeebrugge. TOTAL ??? Four Bikes, Four Riders, one 4-berth cabin in each direction - 300.00 pounds each!!!!

How can we get that deal for almost 200.00 LESS than Rosyth to Zeebrugge?

Yes it is unbeleivably expensive, i have travelled to Europe 4 times in the last few years and always use the Newcastle ferry to Holland. I doubt the Rosyth ferry will last another year. Last trip cost £186 each (return with cabin). Andy B

We always use Newcastle/Ijmunen.
This year it worked out at £120 each return - 4 bikes, 4 riders. 1 x 4 bearth cabin,leaving 9th June.
Rosyth was handy but got too expensive.

Good tip: If you type 'MOTORBIKE' where it asks for an Offer Code on the booking form then you get about £50 off the price.

Still too expensive though.

Frazzamacca

Seem to remember the previous lot, Superfast, were offering a deal where you paid for a recliner seat, one way, for about £30 and you could bring your bike FREE!

This lot (Norfolk Line if Im not mistaken) seem to have done their price comparison with our old friends at "IOM Steam Racket".

Give them a miss and keep the Newcastle-Dutch service busy.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
