Ferry from greece to turkey ??
 

Are there ferries between the greek islands of Rhodos, Samos or Kos zu Turkey in 2003?

there is a daily ferry from Rhodos to Marmaris but it is for foot passengers only, to transport your bike you book it as soon as you land, then go and find a campsite or other accomadation and wait. Phone every day to see if it is on its way from turkey, we were lucky as we only waited two days but it is very expensive, costs for two people and the bike one way including taxes was about £150, this for a ferry ride lasting approxemately two hours. Then there are taxes to pay when you enter turkey for you and your bike. Never again will i take that ferry. Good luck to you.

There is a daily ferry from the island of Kos (near, and connected to, Rhodos) to Bodrum and a weekly from Rhodos to Marmaris (and vice-versa).
With our motorcycle we tried two times to take the one Marmaris-Rhodos, but, for some reason, it never worked. So, both times, we took the one Bodrum-Kos, and then Kos-Rhodos.

We are wanting to do the same thing and the info I have is you can. You take the ferry to Rohdos, this is not a problem.

Can anyone verify that this service exists?

I took the ferry Bodrum/Kos with my motorcycle two times, in september 2001 and in september 2002, leaving from Bodrum at 8,30 AM.
