Ferry Aswan/Egypt to Wadi Halfa/Sudan

maybe someone is interested:

The ticket for one person costs 88 EPs.
You get it at the Wadi Nile Authority in Aswan next to the Tourist Police.

The ticket for the bike costs about 140 EPs and must be bought in the harbour. It's on the eastern side of the new dam.

Custums and stuff took 1 hour. The motor bikes are loaded as the last thing into the ferry, and have to go down some steep steps, so make sure you have something to read with you and some tools for unmounting mirrors etc.

Nice to get some good news of this part of the world - although its about a year ago - I'm planning a trip there in August/September this year - what were your experiences of the Sudan?
