Hi Corne
First I've ever heard of a ferry from Ghana to Cape Town. Where did you hear about this? There are some sea-freight companies which are international, and if you were planning to ship the bike in Africa I would definitely go with a large reputable firm. http://www.sefco-export.com/carshipper.htm P&O Nedlloyd has offices in Ghana: http://www.ponl.com/ For some useful information on shipping yourself and the bike by sea (assuming you wish to travel together), see this thread: http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/ubb...ML/000148.html Good luck, and let us know how you make out! ------------------ Susan Johnson "It matters not what goal you seek Its secret here reposes: You've got to dig from week to week To get Results or Roses." Hello - I shipped from Accra to Durban last July - spent a couple of days trawling round the agents at the Tema docks until we found a decent price - as far as I remember about $700 US for the container - I was lucky, shared it with a Landcruiser. Maybe your best bet is to try to find a 4X4 to split costs with.
The container took a week or so to travel down. I'll try to get the details of the agents we used in Durban and get back to you.
