Ferries Greek Islands to Turkey in Spring

Does anybody know for sure which of the short hop ferries are operating in Spring? I'm thinking of Chios to Cesme, or Rhodos, or ...?

We took the ferry from Chios to Çesme just as the ferry services were going in to Winter operation back in 2002. I recall we ended up at this particular point because it was the only one running in the Winter. So I would guess it'll be fine in the Spring as well. We had a lot of fun hopping from Greek island to Greek island trying to find a running ferry to Turkey so even if this doesn't work out you'll get to putter around Greece a little.

Chios to Cesme is operating year round daily very short 20 minutes trip.
Kos to Bodrum also year round 30 minutes trip.
Rhodes to Marmaris year round longish 1:30 hour trip.
During summer there are more scheduled trips every day between all these destinations.
Prices are between 20-40 Euro...
One of the most beautiful areas in the whole Med.

Shipping the bike and ourselves

Hi,
Are you saying these ferries carry the bike as well?

We are thinking of hopping from Italy across/through Greek Islands, then to Gallipoli. Might this be possible with our bike?

Cheers
John

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
