I will be moving to Brazil - Sao Jose dos Campos and I want to take my 2000 model Ducati ST2 with me.

Does anyone have:
i. information on bringing a bike into Brazil?
ii. what customs / duties I am looking at paying?
iii. what support for Ducati will I get in Brazil for parts / service?

Most of our travellers are looking to temporarily bring a vehicle into the country, NOT import it permanently. Temporary import into Brazil is a time-consuming process, taking at least several days, but doesn't require paying customs duties. I have no idea about the permanent importation process.
