We've had a code update on the HUBB that should fix any issues with the new right hand column. If the HUBB still "looks funny" please force a refresh to get the latest code update. Crating Materials...USA to Thailand
I am trying to ship my bike from the US to Thailand by air.
Most of the shippers say that it needs to be crated with ISPM 15 Fumigated Lumber. The only place that has this lumber are export Craters and they have quoted $500 to $900 to crate my motorcycle. The last shipper I contacted said there was no requirement on lumber used for crating. My head is spinning.  Does anyone have any experience shipping out of the States? Can anyone recommend a crate builder near York, Pennsylvania? I really need to get moving on this since I am to be leaving on the 17th. Thanks, Jim

I´ve sent to Bangkok from India on a wooden, non-fumigated crate, in Jan-08, and no problems at BKK end.
BUT this has possibly changed. If Wikipedia is right(?) then Thailand is now in the ISPM15 system (since 2010) – so your shipper should probably contact the Thai authorities to verify this: ISPM 15 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I guess it is getting harder to ship out of the states now.
Supposedly it is no problem if you build your crate out of plywood since it is heat treated but the problem is it has to have the stamp. These companies have to buy the stamp and then are audited every month. Just bought a shipping crate of the internet from quickcrate.com and having it delivered to my house. 94" x 45" x 46" $340 plus $150 delivered to the house. I will need to modify it (cut it down) to get the volume measurement back to 332 kgs. but that should not be a problem...At least it is ISPM 15 CERTIFIED!
