Cairo to Johannesburg
Has anyone airfreighted a bike from Cairo to Johannesburg lately? And contacts in Cairo?

All well Peer, just done enough for now. Africa is not as accessible as South America, hard to interact with people, not as many things to see/do so travelled more quickly. Lack of Internet access made blog difficult. So you have to wait for the book! Cheers

I do not know any one in Cairo to help, but if you are in Egypt, why do not try going to Jordan, Syria and Turkey? It´s a short distance. There are tons of things to see like castles, mosques, roman and greek temples and theathers... people are really friendly, they love bikers and you can ride freely in the most beautiful sceneries and deserts. You will dash your brain. From any big turkey port or from Pireus, Greece, you can ship your bike easily.
Internet is available in many places. But is censored in Syria. The funniest thing is that you can update your blog but not read it. Holy Land Back to Africa
