Help needed to book ferry from Tunis to Salerno

Hi all,

I have been trying for the last week to book a ferry ticket from Tunis to Salerno. Both the SouthernFerries.co.uk site and Grimaldi's online booking's aren't working.

Does anybody know a reliable travel agent in Europe that can do this booking for me. None of the recommended agents answer their e-mail

Thanks
Jean

Hi,

I suggest you take a look here to see if this website can deal with your booking:-
Direct Ferries UK to Ireland, France, Spain, Holland, Germany, Scandinavia

I have not used them: I have used this one, but it is much more local to the UK:-
Fairfield Motorsport - Motor Sport and Travel Specialists
Motorsport Travel
(You could try ringing them to see if they want to take on your business).

I hope you already solved your problem but, if not, did you try this: Traghetti Tunisia ? There are also TRAGHETTI ON LINE 2008 traghetti aliscafi e ferries and Prenotazione Traghetto - Tariffe traghetti e orari dei traghetti on line

Salerno is a must? Napoli (yes, it's not a good postcard for Italy, in this period...) and also Civitavecchia are not so far.

Fairfield Motorsport

Thank you very much for the links.

I phoned Fairfield Motorsport, e-mailed them and had my booking confirmations the next day, very quick and efficient!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
