Is Bob LaMacchia still running his prawn trawler from Indo to Oz?
In a couple of months we will need to ship from Indonesia or E.Timor to Darwin. I've read a few threads about a prawn trawler man, Bob La Macchia, who does it from Kupang to Darwin and can take the bike. But I've tried his various contact methods and failed. Does anyone know if he is still running it? (I know he is still located there, because his name popped up in an oct 2009 article about a fight at the local expat bar!) The last thread is from 2006. If anyone has done it more recently than this, using him or anyone else, can you let me know? Also, if you have new contact details for him.
