bike schiping from southafrika to europe
 

think i put this on the wrong forum first

Anyone has any experience with shipping his bike from South Africa to Europe? (preferably Holland) i emailed some shipping agencies but they don’t reply. Probably because I want to ship just 2 bikes instead of several containers full. Any help or pointers will be appreciated.

I used South African Airways. Cape Town - Heathrow 380 euro for 215 kg (bike and luggage)

I used a chap called Wilfred as an Agent to organise the customs paperwork though i belive i could have done this on my own despite him insisting otherwise.

quarter of a tank of petrol was left in the tank.

I did get stitched up by UK customs/ the handling agent-£150 for customs clearance and £27 for handling!!
