Bike on train Vladivostok to Moscow ?

I wonder that there is nothing actual in the database about this option.

Does anybody have an Information about the kosts for one Bike, and how long the Cargo-Train needs from Vladivostok to Moscow?
And how it will work in general?

Greetings Heiko

In May 2011 I shipped my bike from Moscow to Irkustk with these guys:

They were fine; it cost about 18k rubles and took about ten days, but it was by truck, train could be cheaper.

Train infos
thanks to motorreiter for the Info
I arrived in Vladivostok now. I will not to take the Trans-Siberian-Railway, but I got some basic information about shipping the motorbike with the luggage-train back to Moscow.
The motorbike must go on a separate luggage-train. Take it to the passenger-train is not possible.
There are about two luggage-trains a week
The luggage-trains need about 12-14 days from Vladivostok to Moskow, but there are sometimes special trains (with bigger doors) they takes up to 20 days. For my sidecar I would have needed the big doors one, but normal bikes can go also in the normal luggage train.
The price for a normal bike was about 10.000 Rubel (250€), for my Sidecar it would have been 20.000 Rubel.
You just drop the bike at the station of, the rest including box will be done by the train-personal.
Anyway, if You want to take the train from Vladivostok, contact the Iron Tigers in Vladivostok.

cargo train

Be Careful, once I sent bikes by such a train, and lost 2 more weeks. It's better to use passenger train, I know they take bikes onboard
Enjoy Moto!

I haven't tried from Vlad but I've moved a train from Novosibirsk to Moscow via a bike shop that had a store in Moscow and one their - they crated my bike up as part of a consignment and it cost 100 dollars and took two weeks. A spare two weeks in Moscow is no bad thing, provided your liver is healthy!
