Arriving fit in Marocco from Belgium in 48 hours?
In May of 2002 I am planning a trip to Marocco.
I am thinking about taking the train from Brussels to Narbonne in the South of France. It is an overnight train and the bikes comes with the train. Now I am wondering if there is a ferry connections between the south of France and Marocco. I have read there should be one between Seté and Nador, and between Seté and Tanger. Both trips are supposed to take about 36 hours. Has anyone any experience with this formula. Wich harbor is to prefer, Tanger or Nador? How are customs in both harbors? How much does it cost? How to make a reservation,... If it works it would take me in 48 hours (12 hours train, 36 hours boat) to get from Belgium to Marocco. And I would arive fit and well in Marocco and still have fresh tyres. [This message has been edited by fireboomer (edited 31 October 2001).] |
