Anyone Heard of the Golden Egale Boat Transport to Cartegena
 

Hi all

Apparently the Seeadler and Stahlratte are unavailable for th edates I am in the area, but there is passage available on the Golden Eagle with an Aussie captain called Peter.

I can find no information about prior experience with bike transport on this particular vessel, but reports say it is a good ship for sailing.

Can anyone pass on any opinions, first had, good or bad please?

The next available passage for me is 19th November and after that it is either sit on my arse for ages or take an expensive plane and miss a lot of road.

S how did you end up crossing the Gap?

I'm only in Mexico, but already obsessing...

Well, I used the Golden Eagle, it is a great boat and the skipper is very professional, so I had no worries at all.

My advice is to direct your inquiries to the skippers direct, the Hostel Wunderbar is lacking a lot and they take a big cut for doing bugger all.
