young insurance abroad?
 

hi, i'm 19 in the uk and gagging for a trip to syria/turkey area via either europe or africa before uni starts, i'm saving cash up but all the insurance companies look like they need you to be at least 21- i only need third party, because i'm going to use a CG125 so it doesn't really matter if it gets nicked/ explodes. also, roughly how much would a carnet cost for that trip? thanks! Hi, I assume you have insurance for the UK? If so then you are set, but try to get a green card valid for Turkey (and any Balkan countries you plan on going through). Don't worry if you can't get it, you just buy insurance at the border.

No carnet needed for your trip, but forget about going through Africa. Poke around the forums here to find out why. Look for Maroc/Algeria border, Lybia guides and visas and Egypt.
