Will copy of registration suffice(mex/c. amer)
Planning to travel into Mexico and C.America at end of this month and I have loss my original registration. In preparation for trip I made copies of all documents including reg. Question(s) , will the copies suffice, do I need to obtain something more official looking? I have the title but I was hoping I would not have to take it with me, I am incline to loose things.

I can't speak for Latin America, but I have been using a copy of my registration throughout Europe and Asia. If your registration copy is a good, clear one, you shouldn't have a problem, and most customs officials probably wouldn't know an original one anyway, the USA after all has 50 states with 50 different registrations.
Make the best copy you can (front and back) and then laminate it to make it more official looking. Also take a good color copy of your title and if they ever question the registration, you can show them the title. ------------------ Dave www.mototrekker.com
