Which Bank for Carnet Guarantee?
 

Heh all,
My bank (HSBC) will not issue a letter of guarantee for the carnet, despite the funds to cover it.

Please advise as to which banks do offer this service?

Try asking your carnet authority, they ought to know who they've received guarantees from in the past.

As for your bank, perhaps a little pressure will solve it. On our first time, our bank didn't want to either, but with a little persuasion they finally agreed. Mostly it's because they don't understand the whole process. Education and persuasion :taz: can go a long way...
