Visas for U.S. citizens through the Middle East
 

I would appreciate anyone's help who is a U.S. citizen and has gone overland through Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Jordan (by ferry from Nuweiba, Egypt) and Syria. I am getting so many conflicting answers about visa's. I would like to know which countries need a visa in advance and which countries allow us to obtain a visa on the border.

Asked around recently and you wont get into Libya yet being a US. Maybe in a year I hear
