Visas on Eastern Route trans Africa
 

We have one South African Passport and one UK passport and will be driving from Cape Town to London via the Eastern Route.

Apart from Uganda, it seems like the first Visa we would need and not be able to get at port of Entry is for Ethiopia, then Sudan, Egypt, Lybia and Tunisia.

The question is:
Where is the best place to apply for these visas and how long do they take?

At the moment the plan is to get the Uganda visa in Dar es Salam. Would that be preferable for the rest, or is Nairobi better?
