visa photo's from a pc ok?

hi,
if you scan your passport photo on to a pc you can dupilcate it ~30 off for an A4 sheet, then print it off on photo paper.
are these "photo prints" acceptable for visa's ?

Well, there's no hard and fast rules, it's all upp to the embassy officer. If it's on glossy "real photo" paper, they won't be able to tell the difference.
To make it more convincing, be sure to cut it up in advance.

Recently, I took a cd-rom full of pictures over to Walgreens and had them print about 15 photos for me. I can't tell the difference between real photos and those from the digital camera.

There's no way my $200 printer can compete with their $100,000 printer. :-)

Give it shot... I guarentee you'll like the results and the cost is right..$0.29 for a 4" x 6" which should give you several passport size photos.
