Visa companies

Has anyone used a company to arrange a visa for them? I'm particularly interested in Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India and China. These seem to be a bit problematic and if there's a company out there who can help, I'd appreciate any recommendations.

I'm English, by the way.

you don't need a visa for Turkey if you are holding British or EU passport. just need to pay like 10 qiud at the border and you are in. however, iran might be problem.

Ah, yeah, I read that but I wasn't certain. From what I can gather, you can apply at the border or when you're in your home country, so I thought I'd check out both prices.

That sounds great though! Cheers for the confirmation, mate!

These are good Travel Agency| Travel Agency Iran

It's best to apply through an Iranian agent for the visa, not in London. Get your Pak visa first.

Good Luck

Visa agency

I am using these at the moment for all my visas for the stans, Russia and Mongolia. They were well recommended to me and seem very professional and accomodating! I cocked up my timings and appear to have left the visa thing a tad late, they are helping get the whole thing done on time for the ferry!

Not to be pedantic, but a more accurate way of stating the above would be to say "You don't need to make advance arrangements for a Turkish visa if you are holding a British or EU passport - you just purchase your visa at the border for about ₤10."

In other words, yes, you do need a visa for Turkey, but it is one of these 'get it upon arrival at the border crossing' arrangements, rather than 'apply for it months ahead of time and wait 2 weeks to get it' deals.

Hi Dan, curious to know if TRAVCOUR provided you with a business visa?
I have just been exchanging some emails with them, and they seem reluctant to provide a multi entry business visa for Russia.

They left me very confused as apparently there is a requirement for it to be business purpose with suporting employer letter from the UK!?
Is it really that hard to get a ME Russian visa?

Cheers.

I haven't been using them for visas just the LOIs but STANtours are fantastic.

David Bergof is a wealth of information and couldn't be more helpful!

They do provide a full service including visa applications. Highly recommended!

hmmm.. I am currently using them for our Russian (multi-entry) Business visa. I will let you know how it goes.

I contacted Travcour and they nearly had a fit when I spoke about business multi entry visa. I was told it was only for business and they quoted an astronomic amount of money (way over 7oo pounds per person!) . Understandably, I did not go with them.

So far RealRussia did not have a fit when I approached them and in their website it clearly says that multi entry business visas are not only for business travellers.

Also I paid 200 pound for me (french) and 400 for my husband (british). Although, as a French national I need to provide a return plane ticket. Thank god for easyjet then!

SO let's hope all goes well... I should know in few weeks. Waiting for LoIS then I will take all docs to them later this month. Fingers crossed!
