Used motorcycle prices
 

As a Chilean citizen, I can take a vehicle back when I return. My problem is that I have to pay 30% customs duty on the current price of the bike.

My bike is a BMW 2005 R1200GS with 60,000 miles. I look at the NADA guide and it gives a price of $7,500 as an average price for a bike with about 20,000 miles.

Does anyone know of a price guide that would take into consideration the mileage? Thanks. Jaime

You could try a couple of international sites for comparison, although even the lowest valuations there are not much more favourable.

On Parkers, a value for a 2005 with no ABS is £4,245 (US$6,750)

On Redbook, the lowest value for a trade-in is A$8,600 (US$7,500)
