UK citizen travelling thru Romania
 

Hi,

am planning to travel thru Romania for a couple of days from Hungarty to Bulgaria. As far as I am aware the Green card is OK for insurance and no visa issues for a UK citizen.

Anyone pls confirm this or highlight any 'stings' which may cause problems?

you got it right, green card good and no visa required. just make sure you take a ride over the 'fagaras pass', an amazing road with countless hairpins and a massive dam on the other side. we enjoyed romania very much, bulgaria not so but the weather was awful in october, should be better for you though. happy travels.

If you had a bad time in Bulgaria you were unlucky. In the Summer the Bulgarian Black Sea coast is truly one of the great party destinations of the world.
