Travelling overland India-Europe

My name's David and i am driving right now with my Girlfriend on two Russian Minsk-motorcycles from Vietnam down to Singapore. We are allready in Malysia. This means our Trip is almost over. But i want to travel on. My dream is to travel on a Enfield from India to to Europe where i live. Is it still possible for Foreigners to buy Enfields in India (legaly would be nice, but at least with convincing papers) an get all the permits to cross the borders into Pakistan, Iran and Turkey.... What do you know about the current situation about driving in Iran and Pakistan. Thanks in advance for your tips and advices David |

It is a trip i normally will start with in 2 months and also for me the only issue is the pruchase of an enfield in India as a non foreigner. Did you find any other information about the paperwork you will need for crossing borders? Please let me know fre2901@yahoo.com |
there is some info elsewhere on the site on this, something about it being illegal to buy a bike in india as a foreigner, although it can be done in nepal. you'll have to hunt around a bit to find it.
