I am planning to drive through Syria into Jordan (& back) beginning late january.
I was hoping to just get visa for Syria at border as I know this was possible.
But, I heard/read that since very recently (autumn 06) it is only possible to get visa for Syria from the embassy in your country of origin.
Is this true ?
I am currently in Turkey so country of origin (UK) is out of question.
Does anybody know current status?
Has anybody travelled through in last say 4 months or so ?
appreciate any info
Have you tried this?
I don't have the answer you need Phil but this web site might contain a lead since you're in Turkey
