Hi

Any tips on applying for a visa for Sudan?

The website is quite clear... visa required, £55, 2 months to process. I am unsure whether to apply for tourist (2 months) or transit visa (7 days) and do I require sponsorship?

Not planning to spend 7 days in Sudan, but probably better having the tourist one in case have to spend their longer than planned.

Not sure what direction your heading but met a guy 2 days ago in Aswan,Egypt who had Just got a 1 month Tourist visa at the consulate there, issued right away no sponsor. (think it was $30US, NZ passport)

Do a search, there's loads of info on this. The answer to your question really depends on whether you're heading north or south.
