Turkey temporary motorcycle import

I have the opportunity to station my bike in Turkey.
I think one can temporary import a motorcycle for 6 months in Turkey. I don't know if one can leave the country without the bike.
Could anyone inform me on the applicable regulations.

Best regards

Guy

When you enter the country, they will stamp in your passport that you entered with your moto.
If you sell your bike in Turkey, you will probably need legitimate paperwork before you leave the country showing what you did with the bike.

The answer is certainly no, you cant leave Turkiye without bike that easly. When you enter to Turkiye with your bike, they stamp your passport that you have entered with a bike.

There are two options you can leave without bike:
1- You can pay all taxes and fees and import it.
2- You can go to customs (it is near the airport in Istanbul) and say that you gonno leave the bike for certain amount of time and come back on a certain date and take the bike back. If you do so, they write you a official paper saying that the bike will be collected on the date that you have indicate, bla bla... and you can leave the country with that peice of paper.

How do I know this? I have ridden from UK to Turkey and the bike has been broke down in Istanbul, so I went to custom to leave the country without the bike and had chance to know all of this.

Hope this helps
