S E Asia /Iran visa's carnet's
 

We are two couples overlanding UK to NZ leaving UK Sepr 2000.

Anyone any info on obtaining Iranian visa's in Turkey? Where's the best place to get it, how long does it take, how long does it last and how much?

Also, been told by RAC that carnet not accepted in Thailand. Any info on this and also on travelling in Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam where carnet's do not apply?

According to the Lonely Planet website Erzurum officials will do a výsa in a day. Instanbul takes ten days and dont even bother wýth Ankara.
