motorbike insurance ???
 

hello,
i'm french, going rtw for 2 years in may, can not find a motorbike insurance here : no insurance company in france want to insure my bike, because i go for more than 3 months consecutively abroad + some countries are
not covered.
do you have an idea to help me ?
what's the regulation in your countries, esp germany/england/other european countries ?
if you know, can you recommand me a company for my two year's world tour ?
i should be leaving in april/may.

Hi,
I have Recently moved to france to stay with my family till I get on my feet.I have decided to buy a french Motorbike as I've been doing a season up till now..In the Alps! I have a full bike licence and have decided to got back to the Uk to learn to drive(just so I have it for the future..I'd never get rid of my bike)...which could take time and am in the same position as you, I'll be away for a good few month and am trying to get insurance for a kawasaki ZX6R? If I find out anything that can help you I'll email you,If you find anything I'd be gratefull.

There is an insurance company in the UK called Carole Nash that specialise in this sort of thing. You could give them a try.
