Leaving a car in South East Asia
 

I have arrived in Bangkok after driving from London.

My question is this - which countries in SE Asia do NOT stamp the car details into your passport? I need to leave my car somewhere for a couple of months while I travel in Vietnam (No right-hand drive vehicles allowed) and China (prohibitively expensive).

My best guess is Laos. What I am concerned about is that when I finally leave, my passport will show two visits and the carnet will have only been stamped once. Is this a problem?

I would be most grateful for any advice.
