Help With Extended US Visa Questions For Aussies

Hi all

I am currently applying for a US Visa, this is a 12 month Visa for an extended stay, with hopefully multiple entries.

I have my interview in Sydney in just over a weeks time and have most of it complete.

But, I am having a few issues with the info required under a specific area. Have a look at the following information I need to supply or fill out or bring etc.

Now, at the bottom there is a section outlined in Red, can someone please explain a few points or correct my assumptions that I am about to make?

1. Where do I get copies of documents that show my purpose in the US? I am going to buy a bike and intend riding with no plan, the only info I have to back this up is my Blog and of course the numerous questions I have asked on a number of forums.

2. OK, I can get a printout of my bank account showing funds, so this is covered.

3. I am not sure on this, I have family back here in Oz, but I may continue on to England after the US, depending on funds, so how do I show them I intend to go back home or leave the country?

If anyone can enlighten me I would appreciate it. There is a real expensive option of phoning the US Consulate, but at a rate of $3.00 a minute and not knowing what automation is there, I am not really wanting to waste my money at this stage.( well someone elses money as it is not my phone )

Cheers

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
