Irish Carnet
 

Hi everybody,

Can someone please tell me is it possible to obtain a carnet for an irish bike, i have already tried the AA & RAC to be told that they dont do them. I want to ship an xt to oz for a year in 2001.

The Irish Motorcycle Action Group is the best source of information on absolutely everything about motorcycling in Ireland. Hi again Nigel. Sorry I misread your post first. A friend of mine just left for India yesterday from Ringaskiddy, Cork. She managed to get a carnet alright from the UK I think. She had to put £3000 in locked bank account that she gets back when she returns to Ireland. If you send me your email address, I'll pass it on to her and I'm sure she'll send you exactly how she got it.
